Incident Description:
On March 3, 2021, Fox19 reported an explosion and fire at a decking and railing products company in Wilmington, Ohio.
Fire officials from five departments responded to a report of a dryer explosion at around 9:30 p.m. They worked for nearly five hours to put out flames in a dryer and a dust collector. One worker was injured and taken to the hospital.
According to the News Journal, the fire broke out in an industrial dryer for wood pulp or flours. The dryers are connected by vents, so small fires spread on light beams and pipes. The machinery had severe damage and the structure had minor damage.
The cause of the fire and explosion remains under investigation.

On August 15, 2011, Woodworking Network reported a dryer fire at TimberTech in Wilmington, Ohio. It caused approximately $350,000 in damage. The news report stated that a similar fire had occurred six years previously.
