On May 12, 2023, La Manche Libre reported a fire at a staircase manufacturer in Saint-Lô, France.
The fire erupted at approximately 4:30 p.m. in a silo. Around 15 firefighters swiftly arrived on the scene to extinguish the fire at the chimney’s summit. Six vehicles, including a fire ladder, were deployed to aid them. There were also four police officers on site.
The evacuation process proceeded smoothly, as the fire was limited to the silo section and did not affect the workshop area. No injuries were reported.
