Incident Description:
On November 19, 2020, the Chronicle-Herald reported a fire at a wood pellet mill in Upper Musquodoboit, Nova Scotia.
Fire crews from Stewiacke, Upper and Middle Musquodoboit, Enfield and Dutch Settlement responded with five tankers and an aerial unit. They arrived at about 10:00 a.m. and found smoke and fire filling a 30-metre-high smokestack. About 20 firefighters climbed catwalks and used access panels to get their water lines into the stack. They remained on the scene until about 1:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
