On May 25, 2020, WRAL reported a silo fire at a pork and poultry farm in Clinton, North Carolina.
Authorities received a call about the incident at 6:34 p.m. When nine fire departments and about sixty personnel arrived, they had to spray nearly 1,000 gallons of water into the silo’s burning contents to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not indicated.
