On September 19, 2023, Folha Popular reported a fire at a sawmill in Teutônia, Brazil.
Shortly after 12:20 a.m., Teutônia’s Volunteer Fire Department sprang into action to fight a fire in a sawdust silo at a local sawmill. Upon arrival, they encountered a significant amount of material on fire inside the silo. The firefighters deployed around 7,000 litres of water during the operation, which spanned about two hours.
No injuries were reported.
