Since 2016, we have published semi-annual recordings, analyzing the materials, industries, property owner, and equipment involved in combustible dust explosions, fires, incidents, and air quality worldwide.
The DustEx Research Department Team works every day to record combustible dust fires and explosions around to world to understand lessons learned, share information out with the community and to assist in preventing future incidents.
Each time an incident is discovered or received, it is reviewed, logged and documented in our internal system and often published on the Dust Safety Science website.
At the end of the year our team analyzes the incidents recorded including materials, industries, equipment, countries involved, looking for trends and information that is useful for the entire community to understand.
These incidents are collected and published in the incident report for that year. Combustible Dust safety, awareness, and enforcement actions can be applied to and learn from the root causes of dust explosions.
