Incident Description:
On November 14, 2020, the Indiana Gazette reported a structure fire at a sawmill in South Mahoning Township, Indiana.
Volunteer firefighters were called out at 12:42 p.m. They proceeded cautiously because several tanks of diesel fuel were nearby. They remained on the scene for several hours but the sawmill was completely destroyed. An official stated later that the cause of the fire was an issue with the engine that runs the saws.
One firefighter suffered a hand injury, went to a medical centre to have it checked out, and found it to be a muscle or tendon strain. The cost of the property damage was unavailable.
