Incident Description:
On December 30, 2020, ABC 23 reported a fire at a planing mill in Allensville, Pennsylvania.
Firefighters from five counties were sent to the scene at around 9:00 p.m., after witnesses reported hearing a boom from the direction of the mill. They spent nearly 20 hours fighting the flames, which rekindled the following morning.
No injuries were reported but the building was completely destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
