Incident Description:
On February 22, 2019, Stuff reported a fire at a historic breakfast foods mill in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Emergency services were called to the fire, which engulfed the second floor of the building, at about 9.50 p.m. It was fully extinguished by 4:42 a.m.
No one was in the mill at the time. A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokeswoman said the fire was believed to have started in an engineer store inside the building. She also said that the extent of the damage to the historic property was not yet known.
On February 23, the Otago Daily Times reported that the damage was related to a boiler stack in a side building
No injuries were reported.
