On October 15, 2021, the Bangor Daily News reported a fire in a storage building at a pulp and paper mill in Old Town, Maine.
The incident occurred in a building that stores wood chips used in pulp production. The fire was quickly contained and did not halt production at the mill, as damage was limited to the storage building.
No injuries were reported.
