Incident Description:
On June 17, 2021, the Daily Leader reported a fire at a paper products mill in Brookhaven, Mississippi.
Zetus Volunteer Fire Department responded, with assistance from the Brookhaven Fire Department and volunteer fire departments in other counties.
The fire started in the plant’s debarker, so they used a ladder truck to spray water in at the top of the machine. It was extinguished at around 9:00 p.m.
The cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
