On October 25, 2023, First Coast News reported a fire at a paper products facility in Palatka, Florida.
The Putnam County Fire Rescue posted on Facebook around 9 p.m. that it had several units responding to the scene. The fire was inside of a digester, which is a very large container that converts wood chips into a pulp.
No injuries were reported.
