Incident Description:
On April 26, 2021, Cacador Online reported a fire at an agricultural cooperative in Lebon Régis, Brazil.
Firefighters were called at around 10:00 a.m. to contain a fire in a soybean drying silo. A fire was found deep in the upper part of the greenhouse.
Following initial planning, it was decided to set up two lines of combat, with the first line positioned at the bottom of the silo, and the second at the top.
About 3,000 litres of water were used in extinguishing the fire and cleaning up afterward, according to the corporation. Firefighters spent an estimated two hours at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
