Incident Description:
On July 8, 2023, G1 Globo reported a fire at a grain warehouse in Goiatuba, Brazil.
The incident occurred on July 7. The fire department stated that the flames reached the mat of the cooperative’s grain silo. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters found that part of the fire had already been brought under control by company personnel, leaving the military to offer additional support. To extinguish the remaining fire, firefighters used 1,000 litres of water.
No injuries were reported.
