On November 2, 2022, Tudosobre Xanxerê reported an explosion at a food production company in Xanxerê, Brazil.
Due to the pyrolysis of some materials, eight firefighters put out small fires at the scene.
Two workers suffered serious burn injuries. At the time of the explosion, they were doing welding work on some metal structures. It is believed that a welding machine spark ignited the explosion.
