On January 24, 2020, CTV News reported a fire at a grain elevator at the Port of Vancouver in British Columbia.
Vancouver Fire Rescue Service arrived at the elevator at around 7:00 p.m. on January 23 and remained on scene for over 40 hours. On the night of the 24th, they told news crews that they were struggling to put the fire out, but it kept flaring up at a different spot within the facility.
