Incident Description:
On November 8, 2019, the Sioux City Journal reported a fire in a grain elevator on a farm property near Oto, Iowa.
Several fire crews responded to the incident, which was reported at 2:16 p.m. A Woodbury County Sheriff’s Office representative said that a motor in the elevator had started smoking, and no damage was done to adjacent buildings. Firefighters were able to leave the scene after one hour.
No injuries were reported.
