Incident Description:
On June 25, 2020, ABC 8 reported a grain elevator fire at an agribusiness in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Lincoln Fire & Rescue arrived at around 7:30 a.m. and found a moderate amount of smoke coming from one of the elevator dump pits. Company officials said that some material was smoldering there but they weren’t able to put it out right away due to concerns about a possible dust explosion.
No injuries were reported. Fire crews remained on the scene to monitor the situation.
