On October 4, 2023, DayFR Euro reported a fire at a grain facility in Belloc-Saint-Clamens, France.
Approximately twenty firefighters were mobilized to address a fire involving a corn dryer at the facility. According to the owner’s father, who was present at the scene, around thirty metric tons of corn were consumed by the fire, which was initially noticed by his son upon his early morning arrival at the farm.
Firefighters conducted operations to cool the walls to prevent any structural deformation, as explained by the on-site operations leader. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, and there is no risk of the fire spreading further.
