Incident Description:
On July 7, 2020, ABC 27 reported an explosion and fire at an alpaca farm in Columbia, Pennsylvania.
The fire ignited at around 9:00 a.m. in a barn. According to the Blue Rock Fire Department, the homeowner heard a grain dryer explosion in the barn and had to jump from the second-floor bedroom to safety.
The fire spread from the barn to the home and garage and caused significant damage. The farm owners and all animals made it out safely.
No injuries were reported. The State Police Fire Marshal has been called to the scene to investigate.
