Incident Description:
On March 29, 2019, the Washington County Pilot-Tribune & Enterprise reported a grain bin fire at a livestock feed facility near Arlington, Nebraska.
Three fire departments responded to the incident. They used an aerial truck to access the top of the grain bin, which was half-full of alfalfa, and cut a hole in the roof to allow more ventilation. It took approximately two and a half hours to extinguish the fire.
No injuries were reported.
