Incident Description:
On October 13, 2021, the Northamptonshire Telegraph reported a fire at a baked goods company in Corby, Northamptonshire, UK.
Nine fire engines from Corby, Desborough, Rothwell, Wellingborough and Mereway were called to the scene during the early evening. There was a fire on the site, which is adjacent to a large flour mill, but they got it under control. Two 45mm hose jets were used to extinguish the flames, and three thermal imaging cameras were used to monitor hotspots.
No injuries were reported. On October 14, the Northamptonshire Telegraph confirmed that the incident involved some machinery on the first floor of the building and a chute from the second floor to ground level.
