Incident Description:
On November 15, 2020, WXII 12 reported a dust collector fire at an automotive battery manufacturer in Kernersville, North Carolina. There were two separate incidents the same day.
The Kernersville Fire Rescue Department responded to the first incident at 10:12 a.m. and had it under control at 12:21 p.m. They were called back to the business at 7:48 p.m. Officials confirmed that all employees had successfully evacuated the business, that no one was injured, and that the fire was under control at 9:30 p.m.
The total estimated damage is $800,000.
