Incident Description:
On August 23, 2020, Everything GP reported a fire at a pulp and paper mill in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
The County of Grande Prairie Regional Fire Service responded to a reported fire in the wood room building at approximately 3:30 p.m. They helped the in-house fire brigade with what was reported as an equipment fire in the wood room, on top of a chip pile, and in several outdoor spots near the wood room building.
The fire was quickly brought under control and damage was limited to equipment in the wood room. No injuries were reported.
