Incident Description:
On July 10, 2021, On Focus reported a fire at a feed mill in Curtiss, Wisconsin.
Fire and EMS personnel were dispatched to the site at 2:13 a.m. They found heavy smoke pouring into the sky and flames showing through the roof in the middle of the building.
Hwy E was closed while firefighters got the situation under control. Although the facility was heavily damaged, they were able to prevent the fire from burning the mill portion and the part of the building that housed equipment and vehicles. Crews finally cleared the scene at around 11:00 a.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
