Incident Description:
On October 29, 2020, NTO.pl reported an explosion at a wood panel manufacturer in Strzelce Opolskie, Poland.
The explosion took place on one of the production lines at around 8:15 a.m. and was so loud that it could be heard on the other side of the city. Thick smoke rose above the plant, whose newest section was badly damaged. The metal sheets lining the structure had broken off and sawdust was everywhere.
All employees were safely evacuated. No injuries were reported. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
