Incident Description:
On January 28, 2021, the Punxsutawney Spirit reported an explosion and three-alarm fire at a graphite and carbon products manufacturer in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
Firefighters responded after the explosion was reported at 10:30 p.m. The incident ignited fires throughout the plant, causing officials to escalate it to a three-alarm fire.
No injuries were reported but the building suffered structural damage. The cause of the explosion is under investigation.
