Incident Description:
On December 29, 2020, Ecns.cn reported an explosion and fire at an animal feed manufacturer in Datong City, China.
The incident occurred at around 8:40 a.m. One person was killed and four others were injured. According to EqualOcean, one person’s injuries were serious while the other three experienced minor injuries.
A preliminary investigation suggested that the explosion might have been caused by a welding operation.
Further investigation is underway.
