Incident Description:
On December 10, 2020, Powder & Bulk Solids reported several explosions and fires at an automotive products plant in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Firefighters from several departments responded at around 4:40 a.m. They were able to extinguish the fire without difficulty.
According to the Montgomery County Emergency Services Facebook page, initial reports stated that there were two separate fires in the building and multiple explosions. When fire crews arrived, however, they found fire in the ductwork.
No injuries were reported. No information was available on the cause of the incident.
