On August 26, 2022, Powder & Bulk Solids reported a dust collector fire at a medical device manufacturer in Warsaw, Indiana.
A failure in a dust collection system ignited the fire. Firefighters from several departments responded to the scene around 1:00 a.m. By 2:40 a.m. the flames had been contained. During the incident, firefighters disassembled and reassembled pipes connected to the dust collector.
No injuries were reported.
