Incident Description:
On October 25, 2019, Nantwich News reported a fire at a business in Wardle near Nantwich in the UK.
Fire crews attended shortly after the fire ignited at around 3:45 p.m. and found smoke issuing from wood-cutting machinery and a dust extraction system.
Using a thermal imaging camera, they located a heat source in the extraction system and used a short ladder to access it. They extinguished a small amount of burning embers and dust and removed the rest. Before leaving, crews monitored the heat to ensure the embers did not reignite and the smoke had dispersed.
No injuries were reported.
