Incident Description:
On January 14, 2019, the Blackburn News reported a fire in the facilities area of a secondary school in London, Ontario.
The fire was said to be inside the wood shop dust collector. A firefighter stated that it took a lot of work to get to the flames, which produced a high volume of smoke. After they were extinguished, additional time was necessary to clear all smoke from the building.
There were no injuries but the school was evacuated as a precaution. Any damage is believed to be minimal.
