Incident Description:
On March 17, 2022, the Lake and McHenry County Scanner reported a dust collector fire at a manufacturing plant in Huntley, Illinois.
The Huntley Fire Protection District and Huntley Police Department responded at around 9:21 p.m. after dispatchers received a call for smoke pouring into the building. Firefighters found a dust collection system on fire on the exterior of the building and quickly deployed water to extinguish it.
All employees were evacuated safely and no injuries were reported.
