Incident Description:
On September 10, 2022, Globo reported a fire at a logistics company in Cubatão, Brazil.
A fire hit the sulfur transport system at the Luiz Antônio Mesquita Port Integrator Terminal. According to the military police, the fire started at 10:30 p.m. and reached a hopper and a tower. Eight vehicles and 15 firefighters responded, but the fire was already being controlled by three water trucks, two from the company and one from a neighbouring company.
The fire was put out in the early hours of the morning, but the fire department remained on site to cool the affected areas and prevent the possibility of starting a new fire. No injuries were reported.
