Incident Description:
On November 2, 2019, The Times reported a large structural fire at a retail seed facility in Atlanta, Indiana.
The fire ignited in a building used for processing corn cobs. Over a dozen agencies responded shortly after 8:00 a.m. and fought the flames for hours before getting the fire under control. According to initial reports, a conveyor belt may have overheated and sparked a fire that spread to dust collection equipment.
No injuries were reported.
