On September 24, 2020, AL.com reported a flash fire at a foundry coke manufacturer in Tarrant, Alabama.
Three workers were injured in the incident, which occurred at around 8:00 a.m. They were taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening burns on their heads, necks, and chests.
