On February 16, 2023, Le Démocrate reported a fire at a coffin manufacturer in St-Jory las Bloux, France.
Firefighters were called shortly before 11:30 a.m. and found the fire in a silo containing dust from varnished wood. After the 40 employees on site were evacuated, fire crews extinguished the flames and put out the hot spots in the lower part of the silo.
No injuries were reported.
