Incident Description:
On May 19, 2022, Dudley News reported a fire at a coal yard in Coseley, UK.
Six crews tackled the fire after first being alerted to the site at 4.35 p.m.
Residents in the area were advised to keep their doors and windows shut because of heavy smoke billowing from the scene.
Fire officials said the fire started accidentally in a yard containing coal dust and pulverized coal. Firefighters eventually extinguished the flames by 12.37 a.m. and left the scene, returning at 7:00 a.m. the following morning to check for any remaining hotspots.
No injuries were reported.
