On November 23, 2019, the Dhaka Tribune reported an explosion at a plywood factory in Kushtia, Bangladesh.
The incident occurred at around 4:00 a.m. Four workers were injured trying to bring the resulting fire under control. The fire service later arrived, but it took four hours to extinguish the flames, as it was difficult to access the fire in the dust collector.
The injured workers were sent to a hospital in Dhaka for treatment. According to Daily Bangladesh, an electrical short-circuiting triggered the incident.
