On June 24, 2019, Pulp and Paper Canada reported a three-alarm fire at a paper packaging company in Scarborough, Ontario.
According to CP24, callers reported seeing smoke from chimneys and vents on the building. Toronto firefighters arrived shortly after 5:06 p.m. on June 22. They had to cut through the roof in order to access the fire and spent about five hours putting it out.
No injuries were reported.
