Incident Description:
On January 8, 2019, Fox 13 reported a fire in a shop class at a high school in Provo, Utah.
Firefighters were called to the school at 9:12 a.m. after dispatchers received a 911 call saying that the wood shop was filling up with smoke. Authorities said that the wood and metal shop classes were evacuated after a fire broke out in the woodshop dust collection system. Other classes remained in session.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
