Founded in 2016, ExNB Certification Institute specializes in issuing fire approval and ATEX certifications for products (electrical or non-electrical equipment and machines) used in potentially explosive environments. Our work is governed by local, European and international laws and standards, ensuring that equipment installed in hazardous environments such as flammable gases, liquids, aerosols and dusts meet rigorous safety standards.
Our Services
At ExNB, we provide ATEX compliance certification and comprehensive Ex Competency trainings. Our training programs are designed according to all relevant Ex-standards, ensuring that individuals working in hazardous environments are equipped with the necessary expertise to make safe decisions. We emphasize the importance of continuous education and personal competence, with our ExAM certification scheme audited and approved by European Notification Authorities.
Introducing DustLab
Although in industrial practice, still more attention is paid to the fire and explosion protection of liquids and gases, safe operation with powders is significantly more challenging than with liquids and gases. More than 70% of powders handled in the industry are explosive, making them a constant hazard during handling, processing and storage. Knowledge of the ignition properties of dusts is essential for the proper design and operation of protection systems. Our services extend beyond certification of Ex-equipment: DustLab, a collaboration between ExNB and the University of Miskolc, offers specialized laboratory testing and analysis for potentially explosive atmospheres involving dusts. DustLab provides critical assessments and certifies hazardous parameters, helping industries manage explosion risks with confidence.
