About VETS Group
Operating for more than nine decades, the VETS Group includes VETS Sheet Metal and VETS Facility Services.
Dust Collection System Design
A key component to a smooth manufacturing and installation process is a well-designed dust collection system. An efficient dust collection system considers the specific facility layout, process and particulate requirements for each industrial application. VETS Sheet Metal designs customized dust collection systems based on the individual needs of each facility, tailoring the design to the exact requirements of every client and project.
VETS has a strong in-house engineering team whose sole focus is on dust control and industrial ventilation, as well as HVAC system design. The engineering team works directly with our knowledgeable senior project managers, shop fabrication teams and field installation crews. Their combined expertise can help prevent a wide variety of potential fabrication and installation problems and provide creative and code-compliant solutions.
Dust Collection Manufacturing
VETS is an all-in-one dust collection system provider. Once the solution has been designed, an experienced production manager at one of our two locations takes over the fabrication phase. This is where the drawings come to life with the help of our cutting-edge fabrication facilities and highly skilled tradespeople.
Manufacturing the systems that we design helps reduce the lines of communication and can speed up the implementation process. We also work closely with our suppliers that manufacture the system components which in turn supports a solution that works both on paper, and in production.
Dust Collection Installation
From the completion of the fabrication phase, the project moves into supply and installation. VETS’ three-tiered approach to design, manufacturing, supply and installation ensures an efficient process to navigate the HVAC and dust collection needs of our clients.
By acting as both the designer and the manufacturer of the system, the VETS team has a firm grasp on the client’s business as well as the project scope and works to address potential complications before the installation phase.
Dust Hazard Assessments
Dust Hazard Assessments (D.H.A) ensure the efficiency and safety of dust collection equipment. An assessment can confirm that the system is installed to code, NFPA compliant, follows the most current regulations, and provides a healthy and comfortable environment. The results of a D.H.A. outline actions required to maintain full compliance and prevent a potentially catastrophic incident.
Depending on the customer’s needs, assessments can cover the following areas including:
- Ensuring the system is installed to code and NFPA compliance.
- Testing the air to make sure it is free of dust and impurities.
- Providing timely audits to make sure the system is operating as intended.
- Looking for ways to upgrade and improve the dust collection system.
- Providing your team with the financial information needed to make crucial, well-
- informed budgeting and capital expenditure decisions.
