On September 2, 2023, Le Courrier du Vietnam reported an explosion at a metal fabrication plant in Cabreuva, Brazil.
The incident, which occurred on September 1, took place in an aluminum melting furnace.Two helicopters and multiple fire brigades were dispatched to the site, which was engulfed in intense flames.
The explosion resulted in the death of at least two individuals and injured 12 others, the latter of whom were rescued and received care at state medical facilities. The cause is under investigation.
