Incident Description:
On September 3, 2018, Coventry Live reported a fire in a metal silo at an aluminum recycling facility in Coventry, UK. Three firefighting crews were on site for more than six hours before the fire was finally extinguished.
The Foleshill fire station watch commander said that the silo experienced a lot of internal damage, but fortunately, the flames were contained to the structure and did not spread. There were no reported injuries.
