Incident Description:
On March 27, 2023, Yahoo News reported a fire at an agribusiness in Danville, Illinois.
The Danville Fire Department responded to the incident at 3:52 p.m. The firefighters arrived to find an exterior grain dust collector on fire, located on the west side of the building. They extended a hand line to the fire and began extinguishing it. More firefighters were assigned to search for additional fires throughout the building, along with company employees.
Firefighters remained on scene until 5:28 p.m.
No injuries were reported, but the fire resulted in an estimated $75,000 in damages. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
