Incident Description:
On February 25, 2023, En Beauce reported a fire at an agricultural facility in St. Georges, Quebec.
Two teams from the Saint-Georges Fire Department responded. According to preliminary information collected on the spot, the agricultural building suffered considerable damage and the flames spread to a nearby silo. A column of smoke was visible in the sky of the municipality due to the strength of the flames.
In order to facilitate firefighting efforts, the road was completely closed in both directions.
No injuries were reported but a power outage affected homes in the area.
