On August 15, 2018, general news agency Stuff reported a silo fire at a poultry processing plant in Hamilton, New Zealand.
Firefighters reached the scene at around 6:40 p.m. According to a Fire and Emergency northern communications representative, the fire was contained in a grain silo, so there was no risk to neighbouring properties. No injuries were reported and the cause of the blaze is unknown.
