Incident Description:
On July 25, 2022, Yahoo Japan reported a dust explosion at an aluminum manufacturing facility in Shizuoka City, Japan.
Shortly after 1:00 pm, an employee reported to the fire department that aluminum powder had exploded. According to the fire department, a male worker who suffered burns to his face and arms was transported to the hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Firefighters and police inspected the factory at the site and investigated the detailed circumstances and causes of the explosion.
