Incident Description:
On June 8, 2022, Le Noticias reported a fire at a wood processing facility in São Lourenço do Oeste, Brazil.
The fire department responded and determined that it was a slow burning fire, that is, one without flames, confined in a silo outside the building used as a storage for wood dust. They removed combustible material close to the silo, opened the upper and lower levels, and began wetting down and removing the material. Approximately six thousand liters of water were used, and the fire was under control just two hours later.
No injuries were reported.
